We were promised Jason in New York and what we got was Jason on a crappy boat. Had the entire film took place in Manhattan (as we were led to believe) this might of been a good film.

Well to be fair old Jason had to get to Manhattan first. And he can't fly, trains are a no no. So what's left? A boat.

True but the boat voyage could of been just 10 minutes with the rest of the film taking place in New York

in The Wizard of Oz the wizard didn't show up until late in the movie. he was hardly in the movie

i like the boat setting. pretty scary

I often wonder if this movie was called Jason takes the sea and the whole new York stuff was kept secret would of it fared better.
