I just watched this movie for the first time and quite enjoyed it, though I had no idea Jason Robards would have such a big role! His picture doesn't appear on my video box anywhere, not even on the back. I suppose someone figured more people would be inclined to watch the movie if they had the two Coreys on the poster instead of some old dude, but I wanna give Robards props for a great job in what seems to me at least to be a pretty obscure teen movie. Did the packaging on the DVD give the man his due?

Jason Robards was bloody brilliant! I can't understand really either. They just put the "young kids" on the cover so ppl would want to watch. They probably figured that seeing Jasdon Robards on the cover wouldn't spark much interest.

Jason Robards' acting was ten feet tall in this - as always! Harry Dean Stanton was outstanding too. They didn't give him a chance to show off. He just had a very spare role and he nailed it. It's the only way he knows how to act. All the way, no matter how modest his part is. Piper Laurie was great. Susan Blakely was great too as Lainie's bitchy mom. Nailed the part without going over the top.

Meredith Salenger ... I am biased. I will spare you how great I think she was.

The two Corey's were at the top of their form and their form was pretty good.

Would have been fun to have different covers- the Coreys with Meredith, Robards and Stanton with Meredith, the Coreys with Piper...
