The dude that played Smiley was one of the worst actors I've ever seen! He ruined every scene he was in. Everybody else was great. Somebody else should have played Smiley.

You should do a "Smiley Edit"; just like that guy who did the "Jar-Jar Edit" of Episode I.

I agree 100% and felt that way when I saw the movie back in 1989 and every time I watch the movie since then.

Most of the characters outside of Sal, where one dimensional, bordering on comic relief. Outside of the score and cinematography, this film offers little else's. To be fair, the story was decent.
