I'm a white guy who grew up in the suburbs and this movie makes me appreciate it. Buggin' Out has a lot of nerve to try to dictate how Sal decorates his place of business. Sal is probably the only guy he's ever known who has a legal job, outside the criminal justice system, that is.

Many white guys living in the suburbs then and today have ancestry tracing back to arriving in America before the revolutionary war. Not much to worry about and they have been bland conformists to easy lives every since.
