Interesting Movie
I remember watching this movie and I've found it very interesting. Don Johnson plays this cop who is down on his luck and every one seems to give him a hard time especially William Forsythe's character which I couldn't stand and Bob Balaban's character also. He was divorced from his wife and I found it rather cold when she wouldn't at least let him see and bring his kids their Christmas presents when he called and he was always drowning out his frustrations by drinking. The only person that did understand him was Tim Reid's character because he acted really down to earth. I also liked the scene where he saw this psychiatrist which by the way, I don't even know how he even became one because he needed cancelling himself. In this scene, he sees this psychiatrist, they introduce themselves and just because DJ's character grinned he wanted him to tell him what was so funny. Being polite, he wasn't going to tell him so he just asked if they could just drop it. That psychiatrist kept going on and on until he finally told him that he looked like Woody Allen and the funniest thing about it is that he defintitely did. The man got insulted which was very unprofessional especially when he tried to force DJ to tell him why he was laughing but DJ's character got back at him.
