'High Camp'

Blind Fury in my opinion is a great film. It's a perfect balance of undemanding, easy-to-watch action with emotional undercurrents and, for an Americanised tribute to Zatoichi, I thought it did a good job (it helps having Rutger Hauer of course).

One thing that I thought was really funny though was the scene where Nick and Frank are riding on the cable car up to MacCready's lair and the sign on the building says "High Camp". I don't know whether it's a tongue-in-cheek and intentional or pure coincidence, but it stands as a pretty appropriate place name considering the tone of the movie at points. Any else notice that and find it funny?

"High Camp".... yes, fits it to a T.

Nice movie, BTW. Has its own quirky charm and humor to it that either grabs you or it doesn't. Oh, and every time I see melons in the supermarket, I think of the opening segment of this movie. LOL
