Enough about Michael Douglas. The film looked pretty good too.

Cinematography on point.

What happened Ridley? Did CGI remove your balls?

P.S. There is a Prometheus running moment at 1:26:15 where a big truck is coming up behind Michael Douglas, and he keeps running forward instead of moving to the side.

P.S.S. 1:38:48 mention of the title "Black Rain"

I haven't seen this movie in years but I do remember it being beautifully shot.

I really need to watch this film again.

Watched it last night. One of the best looking films I've seen in a long while.

The visuals did have substance. They serviced the plot, and atmosphere.

Michael Douglas looked like he was in his Prime in this forgotten movie with the curly waves in his hair..

Wall Street MD best moment with the slicked back hair! This mullet dosent look good.

Gladiator and Black Hawk Down still looked good, but soon after that Ridley seemed to start cutting corners visually. Maybe he thought it was a waste of effort for the blockbuster audiences. He also started to turn out couple of movies per year instead of spending two years on one movie. Maybe that had something to do with it as well.
