I miss Ridley's 80's movies...

They looked stunning, like this one. Soon after Gladiator he started cutting corners visually and quality of his cinematography dropped. I guess he wanted to turn out couple of movies per year instead spending two years for one movie as previously.

The only duff note is the triumphalist scene where they march the gangster in to the police station. But apart from that it's really quite stylish and Kate Capshaw looks spectacular.
