I was amazed that this man was a comedian before he took a serious role like this one.
Before this movie was released this man died of cancer.
I'm not sure where the claim Matsuda was a comedian came from: it seems a misleading and unfair description. He was more a Japanese Steve McQueen, playing detectives, cops, and assorted cool tough guys.
