DVD cert 18, Blu-ray cert 15
Does anyone know why the region 2 releases of Black Rain have different certificates for DVD and Blu-ray?

I don't think there is a Region 2 Blu Ray DVD of Black Rain. They never bothered to rerelease the movie when the US got the special edition, so all we have is that old DVD with no extra. Have you found a new Region 2 DVD of Black Rain?
I own the Region 2 Blu Ray DVD of Black Rain and there are plenty of extras with it. I just wondered why the Blu Ray has a 15 certificate when the DVD has an 18 certificate.
shareI didn't realize that they'd released it on Blu Ray in the UK, so thanks for bringing that to my attention. The Standard DVD release is from eight years ago and the certificate has just been changed since then. They do this quite often and it doesn't usually mean that anything has been cut.
