When I watched Blackrain yeterday on DVD, I was surprised, that several cuts were made.
I remember a scene from the version in the cinema at a Yakuza meeting with a decapitated head of a traitor. Did this scene ever existed or am I wrong ?
You may be getting mixed up with the film Year Of The Dragon (1985), which contains a scene similar to that. There is no scene in Black Rain, either in the theatrical or video releases, where a decapitated head is being shown at the Yakuza meeting.

There's an amputated finger in most Yakuza films, it's their way of making amends the first time they cock up. I once read in a magazine in a section about body language to count the number of fingers a man has before you insult him, he could be yakuza if he's missing his left pinky :p lol.
But I don't remember a decapitated head anywhere except in yknow, the one scene.
Kung fu movies are like porn. There's 1 on 1, then 2 on 1, then a group scene...
i read somewhere that the head laying on the ground next to andy garcia's body was actually his own, they took it off and surgically reattached it after they got the shot. i think he almost died.

Ummm, I think that Andy Garcia after he got his head decapitated died. I could be wrong but that is what usually happens when the skull is not attached to the spinal cord.

You don't decapitate a finger nor amputate it. You "cut" it.
They medical field uses that term.
Lost his head, that Garcia. 20 years on, still can't act. Bad luck that one.
