Present at the end of the movie (Spoiler)
At the very end of the movie Nick gives Masa a present. In the present are the two missing plates. Nick smiles at Masa and Masa smiles back. Did Nick give Masa the plates so that he could profit from them or did he feel the need to prove to Masa that he was a good cop after all?
All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain
