I'll be holding on (The Intro Version)

I've always loved the version that is actually in the movie, better than the more "rocked" version you get from the soundtrack. Fantastic song for sure, but there's something about the intro one that I can't resist.

It's not on the extended score, and I'm just not sure where to look for it. It should exist somewhere right? Considering Gregg sang that version, it should be available somewhere?

To make it clear, it's the version that plays from the Red Sun with "Black Rain" in white letters, to when Nick arrives at with his MC. Tried Youtube, but everyone got the rocked up version, and none got the in-movie version..

My brother and I have had every version of the soundtrack and always talk about that version of the song. Great soundtrack, start to finish, but that version is always missing. The rocked out version is also in the movie after the Nick & Masa song plays and the credits begin.

the actual intro in the film is the intro to an Iggy Pop number on the soundtrack, they've just mixed the two together for the start of the movie

No Justice Just Us

I agree with you, the movie opening version is the best!

Not the entire song though... (maybe there is no complete version of this version, if it was made for the opening).

Looks like this version is not available at all....
Only in the movie itself, a pity.
