I don't think it's Ridley Scott's worst film. His most disappointing film, in my opinion, is G.I. Jane.

Deserves better than that.

It was like a modern rendition of two cops from 2 different worlds in a sub-modern Blade Runner atmosphere. Gorgeous city and country shots. Why doesn't Scott make moody/futuristic *beep* like this anymore? He lost his spark the moment he directed "Thelma & Louise."

Black Rain should have atleast an average rating of 8. From beginning to end I was hooked watching this movie. The great plot, depth in characters, amazing sound, and just the overall performance was incredible. I think Ridley Scott did a great job filming this movie and could only wish it got more attention. Also I think Yusaku Matsuda (Sato) is my favorite villins ever, he went through alot of pain through this fim and deserves the out most credit. Black Rain is simply that great, the ending in specific is what I thought was quite a twist and delivered a strong message of integrity. Greatly recommended.

I agree, the film is very underrated. One of my
favorites with Michael Douglas.
