Iggy Pop had the original song at the begining of the movie replaced with the song played at the end of the original airing and in the movies; was royalties to blame???

you hear the begining licks to iggy's song that then blends into gregg allman's song...am i right or wrong?? i do not remember hearing holding on at the begining and end of the movie???

Iggy's song can be heard while Nick is prepping himself in the police locker room for the IA interview. I'll be holding on is used as an acoustic version for the opening credits and the album version for the end credits.
