If James Brolin was maybe, a decade younger, could he have made a good Bruce Wayne?

Looking at these photo of him, it just occurred to me how much he as a young man looks like Christian Bale:

Of course, Brolin appeared in Tim Burton's Pee-Wee's Big Adventure as the movie within a movie Pee-Wee Herman (with Morgan Fairchild as his leading lady).

He was even on the Adam West Batman TV series:

I can completely see him as a batman

Didn't know that about him appearing the series. Thanx.

Brolin is a versatile guy. He also auditioned as Bond. He was a good Clark Gable.

Yeah. Though I think a young Kevin Conroy would have been a good Bruce Wayne/Batman. I saw him in an episode of Matlock a few years ago and thought, "He looks just like Bruce Wayne." Though it would have prevented him from voicing the character in the 90s cartoon. Still like Keaton in the role though.
