I’ve been wondering for a long time if Jennifer’s hair was a wig in parts 2 and 3. So far I have not been able to find any information on this.
If it was indeed a wig, then I don’t understand why they didn’t use Elisabeth Shue’s real hair; in Karate Kid you saw that her real hair was not unlike the hair of the first Jennifer. Why would they put a wig on her instead that doesn’t look at all like the first Jennifer’s hair and isn’t even the same length?

It was a wig and it's still an head scratcher to me to this day. Elisabeth Shue was gorgeous in The Karate Kid, Adventures In Babysitting, and Cocktail, and her hair was closer to the original Jennifer in those movies than it was in BTTF 2 and 3.
