I really enjoyed it and kept hoping she'd get the handsome guy at the end. Her stepmother was a real witch. This is definitely one of Ricki's best roles. I felt so sorry for her and her lonely existence and kept wishing she'd be happy and get what she wants.

It's such a charming movie. Completely unique. There is nothing else I've ever seen quite like it. It has such a vintage eighties feel. I've seen it hundreds of times and never get tired of it.
