Another Documentary....

Thanks to www.bloody-disgusting.com for this news.....

Producer Ric Osuna is back again with more Amityville Horror goodies as he's prepping a new documentary on the history of The Amityville Murders. The new doc will include re-enactments of sequences from the infamous '74 Amityville Murders that launched the "Amityville Horror" hoax - yes, for those of you who didn't know, it was revealed to be a hoax. This will be Ric's directorial debut as he produced History's Mysteries: Amityville: The Haunting (2000) and wrote the book "The Night The Defeos Died" (2002). If anyone can bring us a in-depth doc on the infamous case it's Mr. Osuna. Watch for more details as they come in

Now I'm all for Documentaries on popular horror series, but how many Documentaries will this film series get. I mean they have like 4 already and 1 that details the original film, sequel to that and the remake.
Now this will be on yet another re-released edition of the original, or remake.
They should make an Amityville Documentary box set. We do need a documentary that gives the lesser sequels some explaining too.

I can't wait for the Psycho Documentary and the Jaws Documentary too. I hope that the next to have Documentaries are as follows:
Freddy Krueger
Jason Voorhees
Charles Lee Ray AKA Chucky
Pinhead
Candyman
The Tall Man
The Prophecy
Demonic Toys
The Puppetmaster
The Toxic Avenger

Tell me what documentaries you'd want...

I enjoy when sequels are talked about as well. Being as I not only know the guys who created the Jaws documentary, The Shark Is Still Working, but also being interviewed myself I can tell you that it covers Jaws 2 a little, then only mentions 3 and 4.

The bonus disk in the Friday the 13th Box set, the Nightmare box set as well, cover much of each film. . However, the lack of actors involved and length makes it semi-dissapointing. Crystal Lake Memories is a great book that involved most cast and crew of the F13 movies Halloween 25 Years of Terror is quite thorough (I make a brief appearance in that one too, but only a walk by, lol).
