A tiny rant...

I just hate the waiting game, I mean you have to sit here and wait for them to put out S2! It takes them forever.I mean I'm still waiting for them to set a release date for a few other dvd box sets I have.

It's just not fair why can't they just release them close together instead of making us (the people who buy them and help them get rich)wait.

I'm not sure which stinks more having to wait for them or finding out the show was going to be cancelled. I'm still not sure why they did that either.

I know how you feel ChrissyBaby. And you know what's funny is MGM is releasing all 7 Seasons of Stargate SG-1 on June 13th.

I have been checking MGM.com's "Coming Soon" section everyday to see if there is an update http://www.mgm.com/preorder.do?fmt=DVD

My suggestion would be to contact MGM and thank them for finally releasing TYR Season 1 on DVD and that you can't wait for Season 2 to be released (or something to that effect). Go to http://www.mgm.com/help.do

Already done. It just annoying that they do this. They should have just released it in a big box set. They better make S2 box set great. Like a disc just with bonus features.

If they release the other seasons:

It's probably because they'll make more money releasing three separate DVD boxes instead of one including the entire series.

I hate the waiting too.

I think that's the hardest waiting for the next set. It's just that I'm so happy that I finally get to watch the show all over again. :)

I'm also a big fan of the Dukes of Hazzard (which is not MGM, but Warner Bros) and they release a season every May and December.

I work for Barnes & Noble and a customer was asking me if there was a release date for Season 2 of Stargate Atlantis. I notice it was also put out by MGM. Unfortunately, there is no release date scheduled. And get this, Season 1 came out over 7 months ago!!!!!

I hate it when companies do this. Just have to keep our fingers crossed that they release the other two seasons. I just don't know why they can't just completly put out sets. I mean they release the first season and then wham it takes them forever meanwhile the fan is having tiny rants about when they're going to release the next season. Why must they torture us so...

Haven't they made us wait long enough for this show? It's been years since it was on television, and even more years since it debuted. As relieved as I am to finally have the first season on DVD, it seems like a bit of a tease. There are still two more seasons I can't get my paws on that I haven't seen in forever (unfortunately I lost many of my old tapes)!

This first season really has made my day, though. I was so shocked to see it out after all those years of begging anywhere I could for its release. I can't believe it took me so long to realize it was out! I never gave up on it, but I eventually stopped checking every month on the dot for a Young Riders DVD release.

Now that my DVD is worn thin, though, I'm more than ready for the next seasons. I sure hope they hurry!

TYR is also put out in part by sony. if you got to their website and sign up for updates you can send them an email and ask about TYR. i did about a month afo and didn't get a reply. maybe if we all email sony (after signing up for updates) they will eventually tell us when the 2nd season will be out. the website is www.sony.com it has the release of season 1 on there so i think they will put the 2nd season on their before they release it. so email sony and try to do it often. then maybe we'll get a release date. :)
