the Kid's real name. It was probably something embarrassing like Laverne or Angus or something like that. Kid could have just told the boys and not the whole church.

The original script had it as "Lou" (or Louis), but the writers realized that it would have made no sense within the context of the entire show to continue with that idea for the mere sake of the lame joke of "Lou marrying Lou."
I asked Ed Spielman (the show's creator) about this, and he said there was never a name assigned to The Kid. The original intent was for it to forever remain a mystery.
