TFTC will always be the King of Horror anthology shows, but there's other good ones as well. What are your favorites? Some other anthologies I'm a fan of besides TFTC:

Fear Itself
The Hunger, Night Gallery, The Hitchhiker, Femme Fatales, Goosebumps, Twilight Zones had some eps that could be considered (ditto Outer Limits and to some extent Beyond Belief)
And so Governor Devlin, because even the cost of freedom can be too high, I REFUSE your pardon!
Forgot some of those. Love all versions of The Twilight Zone and Outer Limits, and also Beyond Belief. Like some Goosebumps episodes as well.
shareI've never seen a good horror anthology other than TFTC. I expect that one does not exist.
I'd argue that Are You Afraid Of the Dark is not horror, it's just a bland drama. Monsters I've never seen.
I've seen a few episodes of Tales from the Darkside but for the most part that does not seem to be horror either.
MoH and FI both have a few great episodes, but they also have many crap episodes and many crap plus non-horror episodes.
I really liked Fear Itself, most of the episodes were pretty solid. Masters of Horror was okay. When the episodes were good, they were really good. When they were bad, they were just embarrassing.
shareMOH was a bit hit and miss sometimes but there definite keepers and IMO some of the best episodes from it were on par with the best TFTC ones.

Some episodes are still a bit creepy -not many though.
Masters of Horror
Had some gems, but overall it only lasted 2 seasons. So it apparently wasn't received as well as TFTC.
Some of those episodes were very creepy though. I think the one that creeped me out most was The Screwfly Solution where all men in the world are murdering women. We even have men go in hunting stores to buy supplies to kill women, and a guy who has a woman's breast as a pouch. girl babies are also not safe from murder. But This episode may be creepy only to women, which I am. lol
There was another episode that was very gross, and I think banned from being shown in some places. And, from what's described in the episode, I didn't bother watching. lol

I think that MOH episode you're describing is Imprint, which was banned from cable broadcast.
