I loved seeing Captain Kirk aka Bill Shatner as
the host of this showed!!

He seemed so serious all the time, seemed like
he never smiled!!!

This show was serious. He wasn't supposed to smile

Very right about that!! And the choice of
wearing suits for every episode fit the seriousness
of the show!!

There was actually one episode I remember where he smiled. It was the 100 Lives Saved special and he was talking to some kids in a classroom. He asked in what situations should you call 911, and this one girl said when your brother is throwing a party and it gets out of hand. Shatner asks her if this happens a lot and she says yes, and then he asks her if she calls 911 and she says no, and then he laughs.

I loved the way he said RESCUE 911, it always gave me goosebumps!

He always seemed to emphasize or draw out the R in Rescue....!!
