In the first season DVD, the theme song for the opening credits is not the "Obla de, obla da, Life Goes On." It's something different. I've tried looking it up but I cannot find a single reference to this song anywhere. Does anyone know what the song is? And even better, where I could download it?

The DVD release of Life Goes On, Season 1, has a replacement theme song at the beginning of each episode with the exception of the show's pilot. The replacement was due to high licensing costs for the Beatles' song "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da." The new song aptly titled "Life Goes On" was written by composer Marc Jackson of MoonLab Music and sung by singer/songwriter Tara Johnston. The song was written specifically for the DVD release.
Is the Blue Ray out of sync as well?
