Looking back Michelle Thomas was such a great actress and a good sport for kissing on a man eight years younger than her. Watching the show now, it's amazing how Myra would have these nice outfits and not be ashamed to literally jump on top of Steve, kissing and groping him. I wonder how Jaleel felt about filming those scenes with a woman much older than him? When Michelle first came on the show, Jaleel was 16 and she was 24!
I don't like how her character was a ditz who was so crazy over Urkel she didn't have a life outside of him.
The kissing a younger man part was probably one of the perks of the role.
She wasn't a ditz, that was one of the main reasons she was so crazy over Steve.
But yeah, I hated what they did to her in the final season. I hated EVERYTHING about the final season. Steve should have comes to his sense, forgotten Laura, and married Myra.

Like most characters, she started out as a normal girl who happened to be attracted to brainy guys. But then over the years they made her psychotic and obsessed with Steve.

I also noticed they had a lot of sexy girl bit players make appearances. (Sexy in a very 1990s, where are they now kind of way.)Cuz the Winslow men and Steve are such studs. LOL
Yeah, that's what I hated. But I guess they had to think of a reason why Steve would ditch her for good so he could permanently hook up with Laura after she realized she loved him.

Steve would have ditched her anyway even if she stayed as sweet and intelligent as she was at the beginning. Then again, if she was, then they probably would have just stayed friends at the most, especially after eight months of dating and Steve still being in love with Laura.

shareit must have been tough on the actress, this was a devestating character to play. you're playing the girlfriend to america's heartthrob and then you're doing that stuff, you're going to build up an attraction but the difference between her and myra is the the difference between her and jaleel, 8 years. it's like a forbidden fruit that you just can't get with if that story broke out the amount of damage it could do for a single action would be devestating but you're just giving so much to the character... but jaleel is not steve, what is heart in this situation? either way you lose so how do you minimize? keep it professional. i wouldn't be suprised if some of the issues michelle had to deal with playing this character compounded with the age difference, i wonder if the stress and worry could have adversely affected her health. i would assume it contributed.

shareyeah myra is the type of chick that gives guys that feeling and then when laura can't it's not looks, she's not getting you all hot like that when you get past it. i mean really if she was all foxy like myra it wouldn't be the looks holding her back.
