Eddie being recruited by IOU

In a season 4 episode, Eddie is recruited by IOU based on his massive basketball talent and not his academic skills. The college recruiter comes over to the house to talk to Eddie and his parents. Although Carl and Eddie like what IOU has to offer, Harriet isn't so sure, considering that they want him exclusively for his basketball ability. It was cool how Harriet had a college student come and talk to Eddie. The student explained how he was riding high as a star basketball player until a knee injury ended his career. He explained to Eddie that while IOU was a wonderful school, that they would turn on him once they realized how expendable he really is. Eddie gets the message and vows to work hard and not coast on his massive abilities in basketball.
