Family Still Matters

A continuation of the classic american sitcom Family Matters Created by William Bickley & Michael Warren, while also being a crossover with The Big Bang Theory Created by Chuck Lorre & Bill Prady.

Could be developed by CBS (who owns the rights to Family Matters), Chuck Lorre Productions (The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men), and Warner Bros. Television.

Pitch Summary: 15 years after the original show, Steve & Laura Urkel move from their hometown of Chicago to Pasadena with their two teenage kids Stephanie & Stefan Jr, where Steve accepts a position as the new professor of Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology aka Caltech (same workplace as the guys from The Big Bang Theory).

I'll bet Laura would have divorced him by now. Fortunately for Steve, after that, he would become a famous billionaire inventor and can date anyone he wants, and he becomes a swinging bachelor dating supermodels. Not sure what would happen to him after that phase though.

Yeah, I don't have much faith either in the forced relationship between Steve and Laura. So if there ever would be a re-union special at some point, I would rather see Steve as divorced from Laura and seeing someone else.
