I seriously can't believe that possession of meth is a misdemeanor crime in California?

While it's a felony in the rest of the country, it seems like that on the more recent episodes of COPS people in California are getting ticketed just for a little bit of meth.

I know California isn't what it used to be and I can see why so many people are moving out of there, hell even Oregon and Washington states are starting to become like California anymore.
