Officers you wish appeared in more episodes?

Some of the officers who I wished appeared in more episodes are

Shawn Boorman (Season 11, Martin County, Florida), he was the one legged officer who arrested a crackhead that was fleeing from him, I really admired how Boorman didn't let his prosthetic leg hold him back from doing the job he wanted, plus he also has a good sense of humor while dealing with the public.

Jeff Garbowski (Season 17, Fort Worth, Texas), he was the lead officer who arrested a guy who stole beer from a convenience store, I liked his laid back attitude and him being respectful towards the suspect.

reply

I loved Shawn Boorman and liked his calmness and sense of humor.

The one officer I wish was in more episodes was Jim Grow. I liked how calm he was dealing with the 2 dealers that tried to run him over at the apartment, as well the one female suspect he had to fight with as she tried to flee. He seemed to be very calm and had a nice sense of humor.

reply

Totally agreed with you on Jim Grow, I liked how calm and humorous he was dealing with the suspects in both episodes he appeared in, most of my favorite episodes of Season 12 were from Fort Worth.

reply

Fort Worth had some of the best segments ever of COPS. Seasons 12, 14, and 17 were all good.

reply

I also liked the Fort Worth segments of Season 5, shame they haven't filmed any episodes there since the mid 2000's.

Another police officer who I wish appeared in more segments is Wilby Smith of Palm Beach County, Florida (Season 14), I thought he was great dealing with the rasta suspect who was constantly whining.

reply

I liked Wilby too and also wish he appeared in more episodes. I liked his sense of humor and Jamaican accent.

Speaking of Fort Worth, I found out Kenneth Pierce got fired for inappropriately firing his taser at a suspect a few years ago. He later was reinstated.

reply

I also really enjoyed Wilby's Jamaican accent and his sense of humor

OMGosh you gotta be kidding me about Kenneth Pierce getting fired for inappropriately firing his taser at a suspect a few years ago, I'm glad he eventually got reinstated, I liked Kenneth Pierce and thought he treated all criminals fairly, what were your opinions on Kenneth Pierce?

reply

I liked Kenneth for the most part, but I thought the one woman who was breaking down crying begging not to go to jail I thought he was slightly nonchalant about it.

reply

I would've been more sympathetic towards the female who was breaking down crying and begging not to go to jail if she would've been more straight up and honest, her lying to Pierce made me lose sympathy towards her, I'm sure Pierce would've been more lenient with her if she was honest from the beginning, I didn't have any problem with Pierce being nonchalant towards the woman crying and begging not to go to jail.

I also liked him in the episode where he witnesses a drug transaction.

reply

I will agree that her lying didn't help her at all. I agree Pierce would've been more lenient if she was honest upfront.

I think he appeared in the segment where he pulls over a vehicle and a woman who claims she was raped by a male suspect, who eventually was arrested.

reply

Pierce did appear in the segment where a woman claims a man riding in the back of her truck raped her, I thought Pierce did a great job handling the situation and showed a lot of restraint dealing with the man who molested the woman.

The woman who lied to Pierce lost my sympathy because she refused to be straight up with him with her date of birth, I do wonder if the car she was driving was stolen or not.

reply

I kind of figured the date of birth she gave to Pierce was false as she looked quite a few years older. I was wondering too if the car was stolen or not.

reply

She looked like she was approaching middle age, I think she said she was born in October 1959 at the end.

reply

1959 probably was right year-wise.

reply

I wish the show never existed in the first place.

reply

If you feel this way then why are you on this site?

reply

Dumb question.

Another police officer who I wished appeared in more episodes is Officer Mark Garcia of Albuquerque (Season 8), he appeared in the final segment of Season 8, Episode 32 where he did a traffic stop on a person selling drugs to a motorist, it turns out that the drug dealer sold the buyers soap instead of crack cocaine, I thought Officer Garcia was very laid back and upbeat while dealing with the situation, he even claims he's been dealing with the crack dealer for many years.

One of the drug buyers sounds a lot like actor Eddie Murphy which makes the segment funny, fortunately the buyers ended up getting released because it was soap instead of crack cocaine!

Another officer I wish appeared in more episodes is Nick Camene of Palm Beach County, Florida (Season 16), he was the officer who arrested an older black male for burglarizing a business and stole some heavy duty tape and copper wire, I liked how calm and restrained Officer Camene was while dealing with the suspect.

I remember this episode used to be played on COURT TV/TRU TV all the time back in the mid to late 2000's and saw people complain about the overplay of this episode.
