I know that if I need some sort of help that I can't handle myself, it will be the boys in blue and not the thugs in BLM that will bail my black ass out.
It's disgusting what's happened in America and now other parts of the world. We have a generation that has no respect for any authority yet demands respect without earning it.
Exactly these are the people who are going to put their lives on the line to save them if they call 911. We should be applauding these brave men and women not wishing death upon them. BLM has reached a new low and it's beyond disgusting. You are absolutely right, they expect everyone to figuratively kiss their asses and tip toe around their fragile little feelings while they can show utter disrespect to whoever they like, they are a bunch of entitled brats.
What's very ironic is they seem to think it's OK to say Black Lives Matter (along with riot, burn buildings and murder people) because allegedly there is some kind of pattern of institutionalized racism against Blacks (yet every time I ask for proof I only get assumptions that do not directly confirm this), and fine yes Black Lives do matter along with everyone else's life, yet there is clearly a movement to murder police officers yet "Blue Lives Matter" or "All Lives Matter" somehow doesn't reach the threshold of being politically correct/non-racist. It's very disturbing, not to mention that Joe Biden is going to allow this to happen if he gets elected which will only result in more people dying who can't afford proper protection (many of whom are minorities).
Imagine me calling BLM for help. They come to my house and burn it down and then their mob beats me to death. Why the fuck would I call terrorists to my house? LOL.

In a civilized society, they do demand respect and they deserve respect. Respect of authority: that's how it works. Law abiding people like me pay our taxes, and from part of our taxes *we* hire police to protect us. Those of us who are law abiding have no fear of police, but we do give them the respect the job and us as their bosses entrust to them.

When there are as many police interactions as there are every day in a country with 350 million citizens, there are always going to be a examples of mistakes being made, and that cop shouldn't have shot Scott. But you know what? Even in this rare example, we have another situation where a person doesn't simple do what he's told. I'm a black guy and I've been pulled over at least 20 times in the 48 years I've been driving, and I always kept my hands visible and always did exactly what I was told. My two sons were taught by me to do what the cop says. The man has a gun, he's more scared of us than we are of him. When pulled over, I have the advantage: I know the cop is a public employee who has been trained in police work and has to answer to authorities every time he pulls his weapon. But the cop doesn't know anything about me or whether I've got a gun between the seats of my car or in the small of my back.
When it gets to the point where a cop is calling for backup and is reaching for a taser, things have already gone too far.
Final comment: if Walter Scott was white this wouldn't have been a story.

They believe that police should be retrained to deal with black people who prefer to clash with police instead of following legal commands that everyone else must follow.
