Seriously, i have not missed a single episode of Cops since season 1 and even i get bored now.
How can you have episode after episode with people being pulled over and being searched for meth or crack?
Literally, the last 4 episodes i can only remember being about either drunk people being involved in "domestic violence" or drug abusers being caught red handed. Boring as hell...
I have noticed the huge drop in quality since the move to Spike. Other than the pot smoking granny last night and the drugged out guy screaming in the bushes, it's been boring.
I've been tired of prostitution related episodes since 1994.
Another episode from Season 26 that I liked was the one from Sacramento where the police did a traffic stop on a bicycle without lights (at dusk), the suspect fled from the police on foots, it turns out he has a $50,000 felony warrant for his arrest.
shareYes it is getting a bit repetitive. I wouldn't say horrible though, its a lot better than 19-21 and non stop Vegas episodes. They used to have a huge variety of crimes back in the day.
I honestly liked it better when they would show stuff in the briefing rooms, or follow the cops home. stuff like that. Now I guess people just want action and chases.
I also consider Season 26 to be the low point of the show, there just weren't really many good episodes from that season, fortunately Season 27 has gotten better.
shareI watched several more episodes from Season 26 and it is a very lackluster season, also didn't they show small clips of what happens to the criminals right before the full segment? I seem to remember them doing that which I did not like.
