Same old same old...

How many times have I heard the line, "It's good to be out here to catch murderers, rapists and child molesters," or something similar to that, or something to the effect of protecting the good people/general public, and then...

See the same old people being profiled and busted for having a handful of dope, the same old prostitutes and Johns being run through the ringer. Rarely is there an arrest of any real substance. I always agree with the DUI arrests, but let's face it, they show them for their own amusement.

The war on drugs is a false war. The police and government are making money on it, from the bottom all the way to the top. Way too much money to want to find a real solution.

And every week we watch a few little people get thrown in the backseat over a little bit of crack or weed.

I agree with everything you said except a lot of the times they arrest people for DUIs that are barely even intoxicated and just have a smell on their breath of alcohol or people that are really drunk but they're not even driving or in their car. But yes, the war on drugs is all about money (which DUI laws are too for the most part) and most police officers are just the idiotic pawns who make the arrests of these people therefore fetching the government the money it wants.

But what would you expect to see? There are only a handful of crimes that can be committed and really the more violent ones cannot be shown on television. This is the reason why you only see the ones that you see.

Better watch out, better start crying. Better hurry up, run and hide. Krampus is coming to town! >:)
