Taser

Does anyone here know why cops yell Taser three times before deploying them? They refer to it as a command for Taser. Makes me wonder if there's some unseen force that keeps it from being deployed unless called for. Lol. Or is it similar to Inspector Gadget saying "go go Gadget copter"? Lol.

Lol!! Maybe it's so the other cops around the suspect will get out of the way lol its the only reason I see why they would announce it like that

Just to remind the suspect that he will be tasered if he does not comply. Tasers suck and they would not deploy them, like guns, if they did not have to.

Better watch out, better start crying. Better hurry up, run and hide. Krampus is coming to town! >:)

It is to ensure that other officers try and position themselves, so they are not in the line of fire from the taser. They also have to give the suspect fair warning that the taser is about to be deployed. It is similar to them announcing they are going to send in a dog, they have to give the suspect time to surrender.

All these answers make perfect sense. Thanks.
