Pilot episodes?

I distinctly remember the pilot for CNDRR being a four part series where we meet Fat Cat and Norton Nimnul. At first, it was just Chip and Dale and then they meet Monty, Zipper and Gadget while trying to solve their first case when Chip and Dale's policedog friend, Plato, and his policeman owner, Drake, were wrongly accused of stealing some kind of Ruby. In fact, they have a quote from it on the quotations page here. Chlordane is the one who arranged the cover-up and Fat Cat was his cat. Why aren't these episodes on the DVD?

First i have to say that there were 5 pilot episodes under the name "To the Rescue", the reason why they haven't included these episodes on the DVD is not known. But they did the same thing with the Ducktales DVD set and cut out the pilot "Treasure of the Golden Suns" that consisted of 5 episodes : Don't give up the ship, Wrongway in Ronguay, Three Ducks of a Condor and my favorite episode Too Much of a Gold Thing. I guess it just shows how much Disney doesn't care for fans of such great shows. Luckily they can nt cut out any pilot on the Darkwing Duck DVD(Coming August this year), but i'll bet it will most certainly be cut.

Thanks for the correction. I remember those episodes of Ducktales. I didn't realize they were the series premiere. I heard for CDRR anyway it's going to be released on the second half of season one. It's just a rumor but it's better than nothin right?

I sure hope they release some more DVDs soon. And i simply can't wait for the release of Darkwing Duck on DVD.

Well, if they include 27 episodes like on the Ducktales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers DVD, then i have seen almost every episode included. I can't wait for Darkwing Duck Vol.2(If it ever comes out).
