What sort of music Gadget would have enjoyed?

A strange question came to my mind. What kind of music Gadget would like to listen??

This is not a signature.

It's a little late to respond but I can't resist...

Seeing how inquisitive, offbeat, and mechanically-minded she is, my guess would be Aphex Twin. (I'm thinking of his more upbeat stuff-- Bucephalus Bouncing Ball, Yellow CalX, On, etc.)

Wh-What'd you expect? Alvin and the Chipmunks? Don't look at me like that!

reply

I'm not sure. Her mechanical interest would probably attract her to songs like 'Silver Machine' and 'Telephone Line', while the emotional impacts she might have recieved would probably attract her to soft rock (e.g. ELO) and her upbringing probably gave her an interest in Classical music.

I gave ELO a listen and realized that although I hadn't heard the name I'd definitely heard the music--I found myself getting into it. It does sound like her type of music!

reply

It's called Classic rock. It fits her character as it combines technology (keyboard), romance (Jeff Lynne's songs) and classical music (cellos and violins, especially with 'In the Hall of the Mountain King').

reply

It's called Classic rock.

Oh, snap!

It's funny, because I agree with you but for different reasons. To me ELO just sounds right. It has a bit of the same feel that Gadget has.
