how come they compare fat cat to ratigan from great mouse detective?
I have seen every episode of fat cat.
I guess it's because, in certain ways, they're alike.
I mean, for example:
They both have henchmen, who'd do anything they said.
They both have a certain enemy (for Ratigan, it's Basil, and for Fat Cat, it's the Rescue Rangers).
They both like fancy things such as jewels and diamonds.
AND...
They also have some sort of trap.
In the episode "Ghost of a chance", Fat Cat puts Chip, Gadget, and Dale in something I think he called a cutter of something like that.
Also in GMD, Ratigan puts Basil and Dawson in a trap where a metal ball is released at the end of his song and the ball would shoot a gun, make an axe chop, and a big block splat!
So there's a reason why they are compared and sometimes contrased.
The only two differences is that while Ratigan's a rat, Fat Cat's a cat and that they both existed in different in different time periods. While Ratigan lived in 1897, London, while lived in the late 80's and early 90's in a city that's not London, which is when CDRR takes place, seeing as most of the Disney TV shows of the Disney Afternoon were aired, all except Gummi Bears and Talespin. Other than that, they're very alike.
