question about missing episodes

This is probably a dumb question, but where are the other episodes? I just bought the two boxsets on Amazon, and was rather disappointed that there were several episodes ommitted from the collection. I know of at least two that should be there and are not. Anyway, if anybody feels like telling me, I'd love to know where they are hiding (and how one might go about procuring them), Thanks

The remaining 14 episodes will be released on DVD on the 14th of November 2007 in the U.S. and probably on the 17th of February 2008 for Europe.

You see, Disney didn't put the episodes in chronological order on the DVDs. Truth be told, even Tad Stones - the show's producer - didn't know the correct order of the episodes.

In the end, ALL 65 episodes will be released.

cool! thanks for the info. It's not surprising that nobody knows the order, since the overall story isn't linear in any way, and the characters don't develop in any perceptible fashion during the (all-too-short) series. I would guess that the episodes are grouped by animation teams, as the character styles vary subtly about every five episodes throughout the DVDs.

Rescue Rangers was indeed produced by multiple animation companies. Asian animation companies like Tokyo Movie Shinsha, Wang Film Productions, Disney Japan and Cukoo's Nest Productions each took part of the animation workload.

Time was often too restricted to allow for elaborate scripts. Tad Stones, the producer, would create a storyboard in the weekend and the "overseas" (Asian) animation companies would start to animate the script after the weekend.
