i love birds of a feather and think that it ought to be released on dvd. if not by the bbc then for universal play - the company that released allo allo etc. i'd love to see more birds

I think the BBC should release the whole series on DVD, they are seemingly releasing the rest of 2 Point 4 Children next year so it is possible.

Really thats cool, d o you have any info on further series of '2 Point 4 Children' being released to DVD? I was told that the BBC would release series 4 - 9 next year.

we have series one already, and as a regular shopper on hmv online shop,i noticed that they are releasing another DVD,not sure which series but im assuming its series two. Hope its soon

When they released series 1 they overdubbed all the music with modern style music... which was OK, I guess, if someone like Roland Gill wanted an stupid amount of money for clearing "She Drive Me Crazy" (played the first time Sharon goes in Tracy's house in episode 1)... but they could have chosen better music to dub it with, surely??? And it sounded like it had been edited with a tin opener, with the original music still audible underneath.

God knows how they can release the 1989 Christmas Special, as half the episode features Sharon singing Rod Stewart's "Sailing" in an annoying accent (to spite Tracy who wouldn't take her on a sailing trip...)

I think season 2 is coming (i think) the only reason is because after watching the entire Series 2 - at the end its got "distributed by Fremantle Media or something like that. I only ever use to think it was Alomo but i guess Fremantle have taken over the distribution rights?
