Damn fine actor. RIP. Bloody good innings old bean.
I met him shortly after he did Waxwork on a promo tour for his autobiography, "Blind in One Ear". He was thrilled that a thirteen year old kid from Michigan was actually fond of the Avengers. Very nice chap, spoke with me for a few minutes.
In one of those weird life coincidences, my dog died later that same day. Patrick had nothing to do with it.
Unless that would make a better story, then by all means, yes, Patrick Macnee killed my dog because kids of the 80s only knew him from Spinal Tap. The hatred that burned in his eyes haunts me to this day.
