does anyone know why this and kindergarten cop have never been released in widescreen? it seems ridiculous.

They weren't naff, or poor box office performing movies.
Therefore why no Special Editions?, it seems every movie gets an unneeded SE release, bar the films that really need one like this and Kindergarten Cop.
All we can hope for is the Blu-Ray releases to come soon as hidef is 16:9 as standard.
Come on paramount!

The Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy Favorites Collection has widescreen versions of "Twins","Kindergarden Cop" and "Junior"(Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85.1). This version of "Twins" is not as grainy as the full screen version. I'm still hoping for a blue-Ray version.
