No reason this film needs to be remade. No film should be remade for that matter.

Have you seen the original The Thing? It's not that good. The idiot doctor who clones the thing and wants to be friends with it brings it down. My friend has told me about the original scarface but from what he said it has a very different story from the 1980 film. In fact none of the characters even have the same names. Therefore it's more of a reboot. Also I know there's a remake of Wizard of Oz that comes out soon but if you're talking about the one with James Franco it's a prequel. Not a remake. A remake is a making an updated version of a movie with the same story and characters.
There is one classic film I'd like to see remade but only because it was completely unfaithful to the novel and its author. First Blood. They turned a compassionate sympathetic character into a no good stinking evil jerk. I'm talking about Teasle. But of course it won't happen until after Sylvester Stallone dies because he won't allow it.

You mean the 1929 novel both movies are based on which in turn is based on the real live person Al Capone?

This made me laugh. I think they were thinking of the 1925 version but there's also a 1910, 1933, and 1982 version minus the 1939 that most people associate the story with but all are based on the 1900 novel by L. Frank Baum.

shareYes this film should not be remade as it is a classic but what the people who so strongly reacted to this post should just calm down and see this post as a bit of fun.
There is loads of actors I can think of that could be paired together if they did do a remake of Twins, some of the pairings I think would be funny are:-
