Vincent's virginity taken by a nun

Just wanted to ask a legality/moral question. Vincent states that he lost his virginity at 12 years old, to a nun. Would this be considered child abuse on the part of the nun? I know that there are female rapists/abusers, and know that some nuns were also child abusers and rapists. Can anyone offer any moral intution on this issue for me please? Thanks!

Yes, in all ways and means, the nun would be guilty of rape, child endangerment, and whatever else the jurisdiction in that area will add, and all of it would be accurate...

In real life.

But, in this farcical story where young Vince "takes advantage" of an older women (in this case a nun) and "ruins" her - it's played for laughs. Did you see the photo of young Vince and the nun? Hilarious.

In real life however, even if a precocious and aggressive and perhaps very experienced youngster targets an older women to have sex with, the adult should know better and will be severely punished for doing anything with the child. Vince though was a "special" case.

The Catholic Church has a lot to answer for.

Just watched this scene and came to MC to see if anyone else caught that part, too. Don't know if this line was funny then but in the current times it has not aged well.

Literally just watched that scene and it never occurred to me how fucked up it is that the head nun blamed vincent for what happened. He was a child while sister Maria was a grown ass nun. 100% on her, not him.

I think the point of the joke, besides being funny, was to illustrate that Vincent was always a criminal and was to blame for everything bad that ever happened to him. He was even able to dismantle the credibility of a nun at a very early age.
