Maybe its my childhood memories playing tricks on me, but I love this film! Can you get it on DVD?

I like it too. His Girl Friday is one of my favorite films and usually when I really like a film I find remakes disappointing and pointless, but in this case I really appreciated Switching Channels. It's not as good as His Girl Friday, but it's still good.

It would have been funnier if Kathleen Turner and Burt Reynolds had played lesbians.

I concur - vastly underrated. Nothing can compare with His Girl Friday - it is a classic and Grant and Russell were superb, but I found this film quite good and I enjoyed it immensely. I believe Burt and Kathleen and the rest of the cast did quite well.

Christopher Reeve was hilarious in this, the irony of casting Superman as a neurotic who is afraid of heights was a stroke of genius.

Good film.
