None of the films on the box set are in their true uncut form, the first is heavily edited in several spots, and the 3rd is just butchered! The second one seems to have fared the best, adding back in some nice gore bits etc. The deleted scenes are on the DVDs, but only as bonus features, and sadly, even though the footage is there and in decent quality, they aren't integrated back into the film itself.
All that being said, the Survivor Kit (Until they release them they way they were meant to be anyways.) is still the best way to get your moneys worth. The bonus features and the deleted scenes alone are worth the price of the set, and the quality is wonderful.
If you want to see the original (uncut) Sleepaway Camp without the cuts present in the DVD version and you don't mind the loss in quality there are bootlegs out there on DVD, one of which can be bought at WalMart of all places! The DVD is ripped directly from the media Treasures VHS tape and while quality is poor it is uncut.
Sorry this response is so long, Ive been spending way to much time on the Sleepaway Camp website lately. Lol.
