I'm pretty sure that SC 2 and 3 got limited thatrical releases, I dunno why IMDb now has them listed as being direct to video.
They didn't get a wide thatrical, but I'm fairly sure that they did get some sort of thatrical play.
And it looks like someone at IMDb finally realized this. Cool.
shareNo, I don't think so because someone posted a youtube video of an old ad for SC 2 & SC 3 from the 80s, saying 'Look for it in Video Warehouses in the Fall' or something along those lines.
I'm pretty sure it was DTV, I'm 38 years old and rented horror for most of the 80s as well as going to theaters for F13, Freddy etc and at least where i lived this never came to theaters.
