Pauline said she was 22 but at the end it said she died at 20.

I haven't seen the movie in a few years but as I recall, in that particular scene she was lying about her age in order to be served alcohol at a bar.

She also admitted on several occations that she still had "Toby's" drivers license. She just never got around to getting her own.

Not sure but seriously what year is on the yearbook....I know 20 minutes before the end of the movie when Mel had the LAPD show up at his house, that segment starts with a year of 1984 I think it said March 1984....

Ahhh, well ya know Hollywood is not the best at keeping storylines straight!

I believe the yearbook was the year of 1981 which was the year she graduated high school.

i thought when she was showing her family the pictures of the palm springs home and came accross a picture of mel, they asked how old he was and she said 35, and me 22, no big deal.

Watching it now. She never says she is 22. She does show a fake ID in a bar scene. When she is visiting her family and showing pictures of her boyfriend (whom she had told her mother was 35) her mother says "If he's 35 I'm 22."
