20? years ago we tried to get my mother in law to watch this video with us. She didn't watch any tv because she said it's too violent. She wouldn't watch even though we insisted it was a sweet, funny Christmas movie.

Well, of course she happened to walk in right at the moment bullets were flying. She never believed us again.

When I saw this in theaters my friend and I thought we were in the wrong theater because of the introduction. I was afraid of scary movies and the Scrooge promo terrified me.
