Seen that too..
shareRed Dawn
shareThe Bond Movies aren't American.
The Package (Gene Hackman)
Rambo: First Blood Part II
No Retreat, No Surrender Part II
Black Eagle (Sho Kosugi and Jean Claude Van Damme)
Red Scorpion
Invasion U.S.A. (the main villain was Russian)
I would recommend 'The Package'. An excellent conspiracy thriller.
You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!
Firefox (starring Clint Eastwood)
shareBULLETPROOF with Gary Busey. It's an awful 80's action movie with a very low budget but has that same T72 mockup they used in this movie and RED DAWN. Also, William Smith basically reprises his role from DAWN.
The film is more like INVASION USA with Russians teamed up with Libyans, Cubans, Nicaraguans, and various terrorists assembling at the border to invade the US. Of course they didn't count on McBain stopping them. "MCBAIN!!!!"
The Hunt for Red October.
"Candy CANES?? Are you mocking me?" - Dr. Gregory House
Aside from all the recommendations, here are a few more:
No Way Out
Little Nikita
White Nights
The Fourth Protocol
There are a slew of 80s films featuring Russians as the bad guys.
Global Warming, it's a personal decision innit? - Nigel Tufnel
Rescue from Gilligans Island is probably the best movie involving the russians as villains. Those guys were tough. They really wanted to capture Gilligan after he got to Hawaii
