Also if the location list for Rambo is to be believed, it too, didn't have any scenes on US soil.

But then again, Canada is America lite. Twice the taxes and the same great overlords. ;)

If you read that tidbit of info then you should realize that it means scenes that "take place" on American soil, legitimately or not. It's a stupid bit of trivia, like many, but still. It has to be taken in context, not referring to where the scenes were specifically shot.
