Did I see correctly, there was a split second in a cave fight where Rambo shoots an arrow with one of those blue glow sticks attached to it? Since it wasn't strung to a grenade, what purpose would it serve, other than to start a rave?

After he shot the blue arrow at that Russian soldier, the other Russian soldiers shot him. So, I'm guessing the Russian soldiers somehow knew that Rambo had those blue glow stick things and upon seeing the blue light they assumed their ally was Rambo and shot him. Or maybe they just saw light and shot at it because they're idiots. It didn't really make much sense to me either.

I thought it was kind of silly doing that and would definitely give your position away.
shareAll I can say, as a kid watching that was one of the coolest things I had seen. Definitely not smart as to give away position, or maybe it a way to help see in the dark. Either way awesome stuff.
